Patrick is a licensed nursing home administrator and healthcare executive with 30 years of leadership in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, hospice, and senior living. Since 2003 he has served as President and CEO of Sherrill House in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. Sherrill House is a 196-bed, not-for-profit skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility with a 5-star CMS rating, where he oversees all clinical, operational, regulatory, and financial functions. He led the launch of its hospice and dialysis programs. Before that, he was Executive Director of The Boston Center for Subacute Rehab, a 140-bed Partners Healthcare facility, where he directed a turnaround and maintained Joint Commission accreditation. Earlier, he was Vice President for the Northeast Region at Mariner Health Care, overseeing multiple long-term care facilities across New England.

Patrick is Chairman of the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Nursing Home Administrators and has served on the Massachusetts Department of Public Health's Informal Dispute Resolution panel since 2008, reviewing contested survey findings. He is a Director of the Massachusetts Senior Care Association and a former Trustee of LeadingAge Massachusetts. He has also served on the American Health Care Association's Not-for-Profit Council. Law firms and government agencies retain him for opinions on nursing home administration, CMS compliance, and elder care standards.
